THE LEAGUE RELEASE EARLY 2026 FIXTURES
MATCH REPORT:
PARKWOOD VS DARTFORD DEVELOPMENT

The league has officially released the schedule of fixtures for the months of January and February. This comprehensive list of upcoming matches is now immediately accessible for supporters and the general public on the dedicated Fixture Page of the club website. While the schedule is published, the club advises that all dates and times remain provisional. These fixtures are inherently subject to alteration, primarily due to two factors: potential rescheduling necessitated by adverse weather conditions, or changes resulting from the progression of the team in various cup competitions that may require priority fixture rearrangement. Supporters are encouraged to check the fixture page regularly for the latest confirmed information.

The local derby against Dartford Development proved a gripping spectacle, contrasting youthful ambition with seasoned experience. An excellent start saw us take a commanding lead, courtesy of Lizzie’s superb individual effort for her tenth goal of the season, quickly followed by Faye’s powerful headed conversion from a corner. However, the momentum shifted just 15 minutes before the interval when Corrie was forced off with a knee injury. Dartford capitalized ruthlessly during our subsequent period of adjustment, netting two well-taken goals to level the scores at the break. The second half was a tense, back-and-forth battle, where both teams were relentlessly denied a winner by the woodwork, determined last-ditch defending, and a series of magnificent saves by both keepers. Ultimately, this hard-fought 2-2 draw stood as a compelling and powerful advertisement for the quality of women’s football at this competitive level.
